Of interest here is the Sonata score, created from a series of 5 short dances, and "arranged" by Alexandre Guilmant, as it fits in with the running theme of "meta-characters": Sterne as Yorick, Cello as Viol de Gamba, sax as Le Fleur etc (spurious at the moment but will bolster)
